Liberty cuts Belgium jobs, could stop HDG line

Liberty Steel has started informing workers at it Belgian units of its intention to cut up to 153 jobs, mainly at the Tilleur and Flemalle sites. Trade unions note this is part of the plan to stop one of the two hot-dip galvanized coil lines at the Flemalle site.
