Liugang changes BF to be removed
Liuzhou Iron & Steel (Liugang) Group plans to change the capacity replacement plan for its plant in Guangxi Fangchenggang, so that it can retain one 2,000 cubic metre blast furnace (BF), according to the Industry and Information Technology Department of Guangxi.
Liugang had planned to dismantle one 1,500cum BF and one 2,000cum BF with total 3 million tonnes/year capacity to build one 3,000cum BF and one 3,800cum BF, according to its August 2021 announcement. …
