Lloyd Metals’ iron ore, DRI output, delivery surge
India-based Lloyd Metals’ iron ore production surged 92% on-year to 1.52 million tonnes in the third fiscal quarter ended 31 December 2022 (FQ3) against 0.79mt produced a year earlier. The company’s direct reduced iron production grew 81% to 60,480 tonnes in FQ3 against 33,350t produced last year, Kallanish notes.
Lloyd Metal’s iron ore and DRI sales thus grew 2,783% and 79% respectively to 1.73mt and 60,890t in FQ3.
