LME scrap and rebar volumes fall in June

The London Metal Exchange (LME) saw both the number of lots and tonnage volumes fall month-on-month in its ferrous scrap and rebar contracts in June, the exchange tells Kallanish. Scrap volumes almost halved from those in May, whilst those for rebar fell more gently. Average prices rose slightly on-month for rebar but slipped back for scrap.
