Longgang completes sintering emissions upgrade

Longmen Iron & Steel (Longgang) in Shaanxi province has commissioned one 450-square metre sintering machine, which now meets low-emissions standards, Kallanish notes. The facility is able to produce 4.98 million tonnes/year of sintered ore. Its sulphur and nitrate removal system has been upgraded. The per-hour average concentrate of PM 2.5, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxide should now not exceed 10 mg/Nm3, 35 mg/Nm3 and 50 mg/Nm3 respectively. Meanwhile…
