Bids come in lower for Iranian billet exports
Iranian long steel producer Khorasan Steel Company has postponed until an unspecified date its billet export tender, which was due to close on 31 December, due to bids not matching the target price.
The mill’s target price was $490/tonne fob and above, for shipment in the second half of February. However, bids came in at $485-487/t fob, Kallanish learns from market sources.
