Magang restarts blast furnace after overhaul
China’s Anhui-based Ma’anshan Iron & Steel (Magang) has restarted its B blast furnace after an 84-day overhaul. This is the fastest BF overhaul it as completed, Kallanish notes.
CISDI Group gained the contract and officially started the overhaul in mid-September after seven months of preparation. Magang listed the overhaul as one of the most vital tasks of the fourteenth five-year [2021-2025] development plan.
