Malaysia-China Kuantan project hot tests blast furnace
Union Iron & Steel (Malaysia) Company, a Chinese overseas steel investment project in Malaysia's Kuantan, hot tested its #1 1,080 cubic metre blast furnace on 26 March. This followed a construction phase of 16 months duration according to the project contractor, Shanghai Baoye MCC Group.
