Mechel increases iron ore deliveries in first quarter
Mechel’s Korshunovsky (KGOK) mine increased iron ore sales in the first quarter to 370,000 tonnes, up by 50% compared to Q4 and 13% on-year, Kallanish notes.
Most of the production was sent to the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant, with some shipped to a number of other steelmakers in the Urals and Western Siberia.
