Mechel ore mine continues to increase output
Russian miner and steelmaker Mechel’s Korshunovsky mine increased iron ore production 4% on-month in May to 519,000 tonnes, the company says.
The mined ore is sent to the Korshunovsky GOK (KGOK) enrichment plant to obtain high-quality iron ore concentrate. Product is supplied to the main customer – Mechel’s Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant.
