Mechel’s Chelyabinsk increases shipments in January
Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant (ChMK), part of Mechel, increased its sales of rebar and a number of other products in January, the company says.
The plant shipped 277,000 tonnes of steel, more by 8% on-year, Kallanish notes.
ChMK’s January sales of rebar increased by 13% to 93,000t. Beam sales amounted to more than 37,000t, up by 4%. Deliveries of shaped profiles increased by 21% to more than 7,000t.
