MENA HRC import prices bearish, local mills resist
Several Indian-origin hot rolled coil deals have concluded to the Gulf Cooperation Council after Indian suppliers compromised on offers last week due to low domestic demand and exhausted EU quotas, among other reasons.
In Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, Indian-origin 2mm+ SAE grade HRC offers have declined nearly $5-10/tonne on-week to $900/t cfr Abu Dhabi for November deliveries.
