Metal sales, inventories rise in the US
Monthly sales of metal products by wholesale merchants rose in the US during July, Kallanish learns from data gathered by the US Census Bureau.
According to the Bureau's wholesale trade report, sales of metal products by merchants in the US rose by 6% to $20.7 billion during July. Wholesaler's inventories of metal products rose, as well, by 4.7% to $36.2 billion during the month.
