Metalloinvest delivers record square billet volume
Russian steelmaker Metalloinvest’s OEMK works shipped a record volume of cast billet in 2020, the company says.
Shipments amounted to 1.04 million tonnes, which exceeded the previous record set in 2016 by almost 20,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes. The enterprise shipped cast billet to customers in Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, China, Italy, Denmark, Colombia and other countries.
