Metinvest, JSW consider sharing Piombino
Indian steelmaker JSW’s Italian long steel mill in Piombino is on track to become a steel hub capable of producing both flats and longs. Metinvest chief executive Yuriy Ryzhenkov met Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso in Rome this week to discuss a possible takeover of part of the Piombino steelworks, Kallanish learns from the ministry and informed market sources.
