Mexico considers extending duties on Chinese seamless pipes
The Mexican Ministry of Economy (SE) has initiated an anti-dumping review to potentially extend for a third consecutive time a compensatory duty on imports of seamless pipes from China, Kallanish notes.
Authorities announced in the country’s Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF) on 22 December that domestic producer Tubos de Acero de México (Tamsa) petitioned that the removal of duties would negatively impact domestic production.
