Mexico`s Ahmsa to supply special plate to Caterpillar
Mexican steelmaker Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) is set to supply special plate to Caterpillar, reports monitored by Kallanish suggest. This follows the announcement that Ahmsa has obtained the so-called reliable supplier certification by the US construction equipment manufacturer for its premium plate production at the steelmaker’s Steckel mill.
Caterpillar has awarded Ahmsa a contract for the supply of 12,000 tonnes/month of special plate.
