MIIT releases coking industry standards
The latest coking industry standards issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China have updated the requirements for the size of coke ovens.
Some steel mills already started upgrading and reforming coke ovens before the official documents were issued. However, the remaining coke ovens that have not completed the transformation will no longer comply with national regulations effective this week, Kallanish notes.
