Mill shipments remain up nearly 50% on-year
US steel mill shipments were up 46.2% during May in an on-year comparison, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI).
According to data gathered by the AISI, US steel mills shipped 7.99 million short tons during the month of May.
