Mill shipments rise 33% on-year in June
US mill shipments in June are up by a full one-third on-year as the market continues to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US mills shipped 8.03 million short tons in June, up 33.3% from June 2020 and up 0.6% from May.
Year-to-date shipments stand at 45.97m st, up 11.5% on-year.
