Mineral Resources’ Norwest bid becomes compulsory acquisition
Australian miner Mineral Resources says its off-market takeover bid for oil and gas firm Norwest Energy has become a compulsory acquisition.
Mineral Resources has acquired a relevant interest in more than 90% of shares in Norwest Energy, Kallanish notes.
Mineral Resources has also acquired more than 75% of the Norwest shares that it offered to acquire under its off-market takeover offer which closed on 29 April.
