Mingfu Steel hot tests new production facilities
China’s Shanxi Mingfu Iron & Steel has successfully hot tested new production facilities at its capacity replacement project, according to the project contractor, Shanghai Baoye Group under China MCC.
The new production facilities consist of a 1,230-cubic metre blast furnace and 130-tonne converter, Kallanish learns. After 21 months of construction, the company now has the ability to produce 1.8 million tonnes/year of hot metal and 2m t/y of crude steel.…
