Mining problems dent Corsa Coal's Q3 profits
Pennsylvania-based US metallurgical coal producer Corsa Coal incurred a net loss in Q3 despite achieving its record-high quarterly shipments and metallurgical revenue since the beginning of the pandemic, Kallanish understands.
Corsa Coal suffered a net loss of $4.5 million on sales of $45.9m, which was down below last year's earnings of $900,000 on sales of $36.4m.
