MOIL’s April production rises, lowers May-delivery quotes
Manganese Ore India (MOIL)’s manganese ore production grew 26% on-year to 131,000 tonnes in April, while sales surged 72% to 97,838t, Kallanish notes.
According to the mining company, electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) reported the highest production for any April month, increasing 6% on-year. EMD is a 100% import substitution product, used mostly for pharmaceuticals and the manufacturing of batteries.
