MOIL’s production rises, revises some June-delivery quotes
Manganese Ore India (MOIL)’s manganese ore production surged 43% on-year to 153,000 tonnes in May, while sales soared 72% to 153,000t, Kallanish notes.
According to MOIL, the company also achieved its best-ever monthly production of electrolytic manganese dioxide (EMD) in May. EMD is a 100% import substitution product, used mostly for pharmaceuticals and the manufacturing of batteries.
