Chinese steelmakers to add ESP lines
More Chinese steelmakers have recently announced plans to add Endless Strip Production (ESP) continuous casting and rolling lines for their steel plants. Rizhao Steel, one of the biggest steelmakers in Shandong province, has already commissioned four ESP lines with a total capacity of 7.65 million tonnes/year. It is now being joined by a number of other companies, Kallanish notes.
