NAFTA talks still garner support
A slim majority of North American business leaders are still optimistic about the on-going North American Free Trade Agreement negotiations initiated by US President Donald Trump, Kallanish learns from a HSBC Group poll.
Just over 60% of polled business leaders see protectionism growing as a result of the new agreement, but 49% in the US, 52% in Canada and 53% in Mexico expect a net positive from the new agreement in the next two years.
