Nangang plans Indonesian coke plant
China’s Nanjing Iron and Steel (Nangang) plans to build a coke plant in Indonesia, according to a filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The plant will allow it to avoid Chinese pollution laws and bring processing capacity closer to the supply of Australian coal, Kallanish notes.
