Nangang’s Kinxiang ignites first coke oven in Indonesia
PT Kinxiang New Energy Technology Indonesia, indirectly owned by China Nanjing Iron & Steel (Nangang), has ignited its first coke oven, Kallanish notes.
This is the first of the six 65-oven 5.5-meter coke batteries in the project to be commissioned and operated. Their combined coke capacity will be 3.9 million tonnes/year.
