Nangang's PT Kinxiang commissions the second coke oven
PT. KinXiang New Energy Technologies, an Indonesian subsidiary of China's Nanjing Iron & Steel (Nangang), commissioned the second coke oven, the No.1 coke oven, on 18 March.
KinXiang targets to build a total of 3.9 million tonnes/year of coking capacity across six coke ovens. The first coke oven was operated last August, so one-third of the target has now been accomplished, Kallanish notes.
