NAS, Outokumpu raise stainless prices
US stainless flats prices appear to be headed up, Kallanish learns from company pricing announcements.
Both North American Stainless and Outokumpu Coil Americas plan to lift 200, 300 and 400-series cold-rolled sheet prices by reducing their functional discounts by one percentage point. Hot-rolled products will experience a flat $30/short ton increase.
Both companies will implement their new base prices beginning with 1 March shipments.
