Higher Russian scrap export duty inevitable, say pipemakers
Russian pipemakers want the government to hike the ferrous scrap export duty in a bid to increase availability and reduce prices of scrap for domestic steelmakers. So said the head of the Russian Foundation for Development of Tube Industry (FRTP), Igor Malyshev, during an online briefing monitored by Kallanish.
