Nickel Asia’s earnings surge on rising prices
Nickel Asia Corp., the Philippines’ largest producer of lateritic nickel ore, reported on Friday an attributable net income of PHP 6.17 billion ($123 million) for the nine-month period ended 30 September. This is 168% higher than that achieved in the same period last year, Kallanish notes.
Meanwhile, Ebitda amounted to PHP 11.01 billion, soaring 85.67% year-on-year, according to its unaudited quarterly earnings report.
