Nickel Industries reports lower production, sales
Australian miner Nickel Industries has reported lower nickel production and sales in the March quarter due to the delays of approvals at its mines in Indonesia, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that for its rotary kiln electric furnace (RKEF) operations, production fell to 31,840 tonnes in the March quarter, from 34,450t in the previous quarter. Its RKEF sales also decreased to 32,759t from 34,427t.
