NLMK increases shipments to Middle East
NLMK’s shipments in the Middle East and Turkey inched up 5% on-year in 2019 to 2.3 million tonnes, Kallanish learns from the Russian steelmaker. This accounted for 13.4% of the firm’s consolidated deliveries compared to 12.6% in 2018.
Revenue generated in the region, however, fell -15% to $1.17 billion, comprising 11.1% of consolidated sales versus 11.4% a year earlier.
