NLMK re-launches BOF No.2 after major upgrade
NLMK has re-launched its basic oxygen converter No.2 at the flagship Russian Lipetsk works after a capital overhaul, the company tells Kallanish.
The 3 million tonnes/year of crude steel nameplate capacity BOF was re-commissioned alongside new dust and gas collection system, enabling the steelmaker to reduce its environmental impact considerably.
