NLMK USA blames layoffs on Trump tariffs
NLMK USA has laid off 100 union employees and plans to eliminate 35 salaried positions at its Farrell, Pennsylvania, works in response to weak demand and the Trump administration’s 232 tariffs, Kallanish reports.
The layoffs will be renewed on a weekly basis until business conditions improve, NLMK Pennsylvania president Bob Miller tells the Sharon Herald.
