North American rig count continues to climb
The North American rig count continued its upward climb last week, according to the latest Baker Hughes data reviewed by Kallanish.
The US added five oil rigs during the week ended 8 October, bringing the total US rig count to 533. Rigs for gas drilling were flat week-on-week at 99.
