North American Stainless updates April nickel surcharge mechanism
Due to the recent fluctuations in nickel pricing on the London Metal Exchange, North American Stainless has announced changes to its nickel surcharge for the month of April.
The US stainless producer says it will calculate the surcharge based only on LME closing prices from 21 February through 18 March. It will not use the trading days when the LME was closed nor the days on which “disruption events” occurred.
