Northwest Pipe posts improved earnings, sales in Q1
Vancouver, Washington-based Northwest Pipe saw both profits and sales increase on-year in the first quarter, Kallanish reports.
Northwest earned $2.2 million during the quarter on sales of $72.3m, up from earnings of $600,000 on sales of $68.9m in Q1 2002.
Northwest attributes the bulk of the on-year sales increase to its acquisition of precast concrete business Geneva Pipe and Precast Company.
