Northwest Pipe pulls lower profit in 2020
US large-diameter steel and concrete pipe producer saw its earnings cut in 2020, though its acquisition of Geneva Pipe’s pre-cast concrete business supported its bottom line, Kallanish reports.
Northwest posted net income of $19.1 million in 2020 on sales of $285.9m, down from a profit of $27.9m on sales of $279.3m in 2019. The year’s earnings included a one-time charge of $6.5m related to the Geneva acquisition.
