Nucor plans to build structural plant in Alabama
Steel maker Nucor has announced that its planned $125 million structural building and tower plant will be located in Decatur, Alabama. Kallanish understands that this new facility will focus on producing transmission towers following the company's acquisition of Summit Utility Structures and Sovereign Steel Manufacturing in 2022, which led to the subsequent establishment of its new towers/structures business segment.
