Nucor to invest $200m at Berkeley mill
North Carolina-based US steel producer Nucor will invest $200 million for the modernisation of the company's Berkeley sheet/beam mill in Huger, South Carolina.
Nucor unveiled the over five-year modernisation project in an announcement earlier today, detailing that this investment includes the construction of a new air separation unit (ASU) at the facility.
