NWR shareholder calls for liquidation vote
State Street Nominees Limited (SSN) has filed a request for New World Resources (NWR) to call a general meeting as soon as possible to vote on placing the coal miner into liquidation and appointing liquidators. SSN did this on behalf of NWR shareholder M&G Debt Opportunities Fund II, for which it is nominee.
“The NWR directors will take appropriate action in due course,” the troubled coal miner says in response to the request.
