OM ferrosilicon production falls in December quarter

Malaysia-listed Australian miner OM Holdings saw its production of ferrosilicon (FeSi) fall 7.4% to 34,332 tonnes for the quarter ended 31 December 2022, from 37,094 tonnes in the September quarter, Kallanish notes. The drop was due to a FeSi furnace being shut down from November 2022 onwards for major maintenance.
