Outokumpu delays ferrochrome furnace restart further
Outokumpu plans to continue to restrict its ferrochrome production as “exceptionally high” electricity prices and the tense energy market situation have not eased since a month ago, the firm says.
Outokumpu announced on 6 September its decision to delay the restart of one of its three ferrochrome furnaces after a maintenance break (see Kallanish passim).
