Outokumpu lowers US stainless alloy surcharges
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has lowered all alloy surcharges for its flat stainless steels for the US market for May, Kallanish notes. The across-the-board decrease applies to its ferritic, austenitic and special stainless ranges and partly reverses an increase of similar range for April. The new rates apply from 1 May through 31 May 2019, the company says.
