Outokumpu pushes forward job cuts
Outokumpu says it has completed negotiations with its employees across Europe to cut some 1,000 jobs by the end of 2021.
The first announcement to slash jobs was made in November; now, negotiations confirm some 250 jobs will be cut in Finland, 230 in Germany and 170 in Sweden. “Outokumpu targets to have a headcount of below 9,000 during 2022,” the company comments in a note sent to Kallanish.
