Outokumpu stainless alloy surcharges rise again for April
Stainless steel producer Outokumpu has raised alloy surcharges month-on-month across its complete range of flat stainless steels for Europe for April 2019, Kallanish notes. The increase, for the second consecutive month, is less dramatic than that seen for March.
Surcharges for 300-series austenitic steels have been raised in a range from 5.85-7.13% (March 7.23-11.6%). Those for the ferritic (400-series) range also increase but less severely so by 1.98…
