Ozbal Celik posts increase in H1 pipe production
Turkish spiral welded pipemaker Ozbal Celik Boru’s production rose 5.2% year-on-year to 37,183 tonnes in the first half of the year, Kallanish notes from the company’s H1 activity report.
The pipemaker’s revenue, however, decreased -32.5% y-o-y to TRY 58 million ($19.5m) in H1. Nevertheless, Ozbal Celik managed to turn to a H1 net profit of TRY 52,000 from a loss of TRY 4.3m a year ago.
